March 2016

MD to Run Marathon

Unfortunately, the vast majority of us know someone who is suffering with illness or know someone who has lost their lives through illness. In September 2015 I lost a very dear friend.

Adrian 'Benny' Morris was an inspirational tutor, one of the most phenomenal musicians I have ever had the privilege of working with, one of life's real characters and a loyal friend to all who knew him. He was one of the people I would turn to for advice on a number of issues, whether that be music; curry or beer just to name a couple of topics or just to sit and enjoy a coffee and talk about the more complicated issues in life such as why on earth the England cricket team can't win a match to their lives!  Running this marathon is designed to raise money for the hospice who treated our friend with such care and attention during the latter stages of his life. St Ann's Hospice is a local charity who rely solely on donations so anything you can give towards my target would be greatly appreciated. If we can somehow get to the target before the day of the marathon it would certainly help keep me motivated!!

Thank you so much for all who donate, I can't tell you how much it means to me and to the hospice.
